That would make since it has to be one of my reds because we got them as eggs from a friend who has different breeds and we hatched them in an incubator some of the reds do not look pure thanks- lshepard

We have 2 rock hens and 6 red hens we are getting a gene egg why? Also the membrane in the eggs are making cracking them hard when cooking. Does anyone have and answer to these two questions?- lshepard
