Help!!!! Opened incubated egg too soon! Chick's still alive?!?

You probably want to put a little bit of sugar in the water.... Not sure exact amount but I am sure you can find it on here somewhere.... It will give her a little bit of a boost! If it isn't up tomorrow, you may want to figure out how to put her in a sling or something similar to keep her...

Help!!!! Opened incubated egg too soon! Chick's still alive?!?

The earlier you start the better chance you have of fixing it..... You can make a boot for her. You can take a small piece of cardboard like a toilet paper roll, and cut it about as wide as her foot, and maybe a little longer. Then tape her foot so that it is stretched out like it should be...

Help!!!! Opened incubated egg too soon! Chick's still alive?!?

She has less veins than mine did.... you might want to try peeling the shell back a little more, without breaking the membrane. You could probably pull the membrane over her beak a little more too, as long as it doesn't start bleeding.... I am not sure what else to tell you. I have only had...

Help!!!! Opened incubated egg too soon! Chick's still alive?!?

With the way her head is turned, I don't think that she is going to be able to push out. This looks alot like mine did!

Help!!!! Opened incubated egg too soon! Chick's still alive?!?

Yes, when mine tried to push out the veins were very thin. It looked like the chick was bulging against the membrane when I found it. I had checked it and it was fine, then when I went back in after fixing supper it had tried to push out and couldn't and was dead. I hope that my bad...
