If your Chicken run is screened in to keep predators out, do I need the door to be shut at night? I live in Florida so most our temps are not that bad. On those really cold nights I can close it but just curious how important a door is. Maybe I am missing something on why a door should be shut...

Being new this sounds like a great idea but one concern... Are all the chickens in the coop when the door shuts lol?
