I had a chick that hatched once after a multi hatch bonanza.. It came out very wet of course and just laid in the bator... checked on it later and it was still laying there, I was so worried, didn't think it would make it.. It didn't look like it had dried at all so I finally decided to take it...

I am still sitting on my hands, 9 Bourbon Reds, 5 Geese and 2 of my SIL Speckled eggs in the first incubator 9 or 10 days left.... 2nd incubator 22 Bourbon Reds and 7 of my barnyard mix chicken eggs... Only on day 9
Bee, I know what its like to get to the end and realize something went horribly wrong.. I am so sorry for how you feel because I too felt that way. It never gets easy and if you truly never wish to incubate again I understand.. But Bee, I ask you to one again look at the title of this thread...
yeah!!! she accepted little miracle ! working on moving her and the chicks tonight to a more secure coop and run alongside but not with the rest of the flock...
I for one am not ashamed to admit that I asked God o allow this little one to live.. when I woke up at 1:30 and saw the shape she was in it broke my heart knowing what was going to have to be done.. I placed her in Gods hands.. Someone said earlier in this thread that some folks don't believe...
Just gave it some boiled egg yolk, it took right to it and a few drinks of water... I would like to take it to the hen tonight but will wait and make sure it is doing ok getting around.
