My point exactly. I like to call things what they really are....unless it's an obvious and wry humoroustic play on words, which I love.

I don't think 'Natural' is accurate, not really any more natural than a foam incubator as far as the process itself... .....artificial heat, temperature monitored and controlled by a human.... tho I guess you could use the word 'natural' as it applies to the leaves and dirt in the container...

Not bad at all.....good in fact! So glad your experiment was successful, Congratulations Ma'am! The most unique homemade incubator I've see yet.....just about the only one I've seen that doesn't use an thermostat or a light bulb. Hmmmmm......Pseudo Broody? Bee's Best Budget Homemade Incubator?

Ya gotta wait and see......said it before, they aren't always moving when you candle(or probably even float) especially day 18. Incubation is a science experiment, you observe, interfere as little as possible, don't jump to conclusions and see what happens. Incubation takes patience ........and...

I'd wait and see...sometimes day 14 they are not moving quite so much. I have had several who were moving day 10 then not moving day 14 but hatched.

If you're in the right locale, there can be a fantastic Asian market for black skinned chicken....have read a couple folks who raise for it.
