I just candled my 14 French wheaten marans and 12 were good and 2 were infertile It's day eight and looks like it's going to be another good hatch. I'm guessing 10 or 12 or the original 14 eggs. :woot

Woke up to this at 4:30am. D 1 day early at day 20 but she's doing great and we have 3 other pips so far out of the 5 left to still hatch.

Where in full lockdown withonly six eggs going in. We started with 10 and two were infertile and the other two quit early. The last six in lock down are moving like crazy. Hope we get all six wheatens to hatch.

Going into lock down in about 4 hours with 8/10 French Wheaten Maran eggs. Wish me luck. I'm going to set up my sponge and water line to increase humidity and remove the turner and locking them down! Any last minute words or suggestions?

10 more days till hatch day, 7 more days till lockdown. We had 2 non fertile and I think 1 that may be as well as 1 that may have stopped 6-7 out of 10 look great but the eggs are really dark and it's hard to see anything other that a little movement on the inside of a few of the lighter ones.

We just put 10 pure wheaten marans in the bator today that should be bursting out on April 16th. :yiipchick
