well, I'm pretty sure that the buffs and welsh harlequins don't really have any genetic coding overlapping, so you would come out with a duck that has a more wild type coloring. It is likely a buff/welsh harlequin mix? That's the only thing I can think of

I think coconut oil would help with the moisture issue and bring his skin back to a healthy equilibrium while allowing it to acclimate. :)

Okay, so I have a first! I must have done something right because I have 16 eggs I set on April 2 and I have 8 pipped! Two had pipped when I checked on them around 630 pm, it's now 202 am. None have hatched yet. I'm used to on hatching and while that's going on, finally getting another pup...

I love that chicken...which is strange, I find baby Psittaciformes and most other "born naked" baby birds kind of...not cute. Let's just say that lol.

I agree on letting him see if he gets it. It took a day for my runt to get his feet, and last month I had a chick it took about 3-4 days, but couldn't tell it from the others once it did.

oh, also...I dropped my tablet on a BCM egg and it was probably ten or twelve days along and still growing. So sad :(

I dropped three of my first shipped eggs. They all developed, one hatched and two died in the shell, one of them had the worst scissor beak I've ever seen, probably from me dropping it. I'm talking like a 90 degree angle!

102 is typically recommended for still air, so 101.5 is just right. What do you try to keep it on if 101.5 is the high?

I don't know ow how to change mine. It cooks them okay it seems, so would rather that than me messing with it and screwing it up

Day 19 here, no signs of anything! Ack! Last time I had one hatched already by this time!
