Final update on this hatch... 25 eggs set/ 10 clear/ 6 hatched (1 was too weak and died)/ of the remaining eggs 2 were peeping/chirping but never pipped died in shell and 7 were quitters (a few early a few mid incubation).

So far 5/15 hatched chicks... one doesn't look like its doing so hot, its breathing but just mostly laying there I think it has a leg issue. the one that hatched this morning is super wet... making me nervous for the 10 eggs left (one with a pip).... today is day 22. anxious to see pics of...

Baby #2 hatched while I was out.. one with a good size pip.... so far so good.....

I had 25 eggs in the incubator after 7 day candling saw that there were some questionable (not fertile) ones... but let them be until day 12 day 12 I pulled 10 very clear eggs and have 15 that look to be developing. Seeing those lil chicks moving about inside the egg is so cool. In addition...

Set 25 eggs yesterday from my flock (easter eggers/orps etc.. nothing fancy).... expected hatch date around tax day, just a few days before easter!!

Prepping the incubator today.. when I'm sure it is stable I will be setting some eggs from my flock for the April Hatch. :)
