    It sounds like it could be a BSL or BR. The only way I would know for sure is if you post a photo of it.

    You will get a Black Sex Link if the father is a Rhode lsland Red, New Hampshire Red, or Production Red. The newly hatched male chicks will be black with a white spot on top of their heads and the female chicks will be solid black.
