Crystal gave it another try. She whinnied loudly. Walking vaguely in Moon and Jewel's direction. "Moon!"

"You couldn't keep your eyes on them just long enough for me to enjoy time with Ace?" Scorch swished her tail, as she moved to search for the foals. "I was gonna do the same thing for you." Inferno pawed angrily. "It's not my fault they chose to vanish right when I put my head down to graze."...

Scorch was lost in Ace's attention, and by the time Inferno lifted her head to look around, the foals were nowhere in sight. "Myollnir! Adara!" whinnied the panicked roan. Scorch snorted and looked at Inferno, annoyed. A quick glance around revealed the foals were missing. "Where'd they go?"...

Crystal followed Jewel's whinny, breaking into a trot. Finally, she just squealed in near-desperation. "Where are you!?" She had missed Moon ever since she'd left him.

Crystal paused, curious. That was a whinny she'd heard, but it wasn't Moon's whinny. Still it was another horse, and that's what Crystal needed: a herdmate. She whinnied back to Jewel. (need Frin to continue)
