    Those of mine that had bad cases, and there where many, had the scabs removed and iodine placed on the sores. Bleeding was minimal and none got infections. However, some already had secondary eye infections and those were treated wih baytril. Any birds not eating were tubed fluids, then fluids...

    I'd keep an eye on him and weigh him daily to monitor for weight loss. If the scabs/warts grow and he can't see, I'd pic them off and apply iodine to the wounds, not the eyes. -Kathy
