    If I can put my nose to it with no strong smell it goes straight to a garden bed. If it smells of ammonia it goes on the compost heap. If you want another garden bed you could lay some newspaper down to kill the grass and start your compost pile where you want the garden next year. This way you...

    I use the sweet PDZ sometimes. I put it on the bare floor before the bedding and then sprinkle a bit on top. I do it more to keep it dry than keep ammonia down. Its just really expensive!
