Your welcome and thank you for the compliment on our white boys. It sounds like he has been well socialized with humans and perhaps even an incubator hatched Pea. None of them like to be held, not even the imprinted ones. I have an imprinted spalding who enjoys having his head and under his chin...

He'll get his full coloring and first big boy train at 3yrs. It will be 3-4 ft. long. After that it will get longer up to 5+ ft. It will molt out every year around late summer and a new one will grow in. If you decide to free range him, just keep in mind he may leave in search of a mate. They...

For what it's worth, I do think you are doing the right thing. I do not think at this point, that he will get better. You have tried everything you could, way more than most would bother to do, so you should rest easy and feel no guilt. He was in my opinion a very lucky rooster to have ended up...

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. When I read that post the cocci sounding diarrhea and the vomiting up fluid sounded like him. Hopefully he will go peacefully when he is ready, you won't be ready, but that's how it always is. You loved him and gave him great comfort during his last weeks and I am...

sbrooks88, go to the emergencies/diseases/injuries and cures section of the forum and look for a post from 6/28/2013 entitled "I'm pretty sure my hen has sour crop, need advice". If you can find that look at the hen's symptoms, do they sound like your boy's symptoms? Just a thought.

Last time we had a bad case of cocci it was a 5 week old baby Pea and I had to crop feed him. So I used the medicated water to mix up his baby bird formula, when it gets to a certain point you just do whatever you can to get it into them and cross your fingers! Good luck, Mindy

Mix up a batch and use that to make his cereal, also dribble it on anything else he will eat(bread, egg, anything ) When I mix up a gallon, I just stick it in the fridge and shake it up before use. Label it so the rest of the family doesn't drink it.

Hi, sorry no remedy for your migraine. The meds I purchase are the ones that are in the exact same packaging that you see at TSC and still sealed, and I try to buy from US sellers. If you were to search corid you would find liquid and powder and both are from the same manufacturer that...

We mix 1 teaspoon in 1 gallon of water and make this the only source of drinking water for 4-5 days. I've never given it directly down the throat.

I know everyone hates Ebay, but I just had to put this out there. Duramycin, Auramycin, Tetracycline, Corid, Sulmet, Metronidazole, Ivermectin, Panacur, all can be found and purchased on ebay. My TSC is always sold out of what I want, so I use ebay often.

Google Black head disease, I've always heard that yellow poo is a sign of that, but we've had no personal experience with it.
