I had a cross beak that did very well. I didn't do anything special for him, because I feed FF to all and he had no trouble eating it. We had a dog attack that got him.

My Sumatra pullets have begun to lay now. Unfortunately we have no male, so no Sumatra chicks.
If anyone knows someone with an extra Sumatra cockerel, let us know.
They are laying bantam size eggs, and are our only white egg layers.
We have Buckeyes, Bresse, Dominiques., and, a few Silkies and Bantam Choc Orpington.
Hatching eggs now, Chicks soon (in the incubator).
We also have some extra Buckeye Cockerels.

They could be made with the 5 ft. fencing as well. I thought about it, and probably will do that when I built the replacements for my layer flock. I rarely need to actually go inside these, since everything is right at the door.

The idea is to be inexpensive and quick to construct. Also since the panels are uniform sizes, they can be broken down and rebuilt in different configurations.

I built them in single units, double width, and in this 5 coop unit. Also, a single size unit divided in 3 for breeding pens.
