Good morning everyone, and welcome new folks! I am interested in getting some basque chickens because I hear and read they lay some pretty large eggs! Does anyone around here sell pure Euskal Oiloa Marraduna chickens or hatching eggs? Thanks!

Hi Laura! Where are you located in NC? I live in Aberdeen and have experienced my own children being amazed at the process of hatching chicks. If you are nearby I wouldn't mind helping ya out. But I don't have my chickens separated so you would be hatching surprise chickens. I have white, light...

Anyone in NC have splash australorps?? Saw a guys selling hatching eggs in another state in Buy/Sell/trade, but I'd prefer not to have shipped eggs this year. They look sooo pretty!! A splash anything would be nice to add to my flock of ladies!! Something with a good size egg though, no bantams :)

Haha I read your past customers response first re: the splash! That'd be great to have the splash and just the reg blue laced red running around too!! Let me know when they are ready and maybe I can get a couple pullets? Do you have other breeds? I love having all different kinds running around...

Oh that's horrible :( I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure she had a wonderful life with you. That is the part of having chickens that I dread most. Goodbyes are hard.

They are so cute!! We have 3 and they are my little girls favorite! She named them puffy, poofy and then Mr. Fluff who is a partridge frizzled silkie. Sweet chickens.

Anyone near Aberdeen have English orpingtons? Tried hatching some last spring from shipped eggs but didn't get any chicks. Would prefer pullets. Doesn't matter color, I'm not breeding just adding to my backyard layer flock. Thanks!

In all honesty I couldn't tell you... Other than they are tasty :) All my chickens run together as I don't breed. I leave that to you professionals. :) I have two barnvelder hens but no one is separated and we gather an assorted color of eggs everyday. Beautiful feathers though! I got the...
