    Gluing wood scraps as feet was the easiest way I could think of to eliminate the problem of not being able to set it down. I just made the waterer so I haven't treated it with anything. My plan was to scrub and rinse it when refilling. Maybe a little apple cider vinegar? I am open to suggestions.
