I just did some research, and I realized I need to build my nesting box for my chickens within five weeks. One of my pullets, the austra white, apparently lays at 12 weeks old according to the Internet. All the chickens are seven weeks old today.

I just realized I made a small notation error on the Dutch oven briquette formula. I made it a little more simple.
Here is the final formula:

n=Total number of briquettes.
t=Outside temperature accounting for wind.
c=cooking temperature.

I declare the formula I came up with a complete success.
I am pausing the timer and adding eight minutes on the grounds that I need to replace the spent coals. As soon as those coals are ready, I will resume the timer.
This is it, the final test for the Dutch oven formula I came up with.
It is 92°F today, and I have 10 coals on the top and 5 on the bottom, according to the formula. I will know in 1 hour if it is successful.
