I have raise the so called " heritage" chickens for decades, then about 5 years ago, I switched to the Cornish X and never looked back. The Cornish X is the most efficient converter of feed to meat of any chicken out there... BAR NONE ! I butcher mine at 8 weeks of age and don't experience...- Bossroo
