Thanks for your thoughts. I am just hatching another try from two different lav orpington breeders. This morning the first hatched and its yellow!? I thought they would be lavender color just a little even...i brought lavender orpingtons not splits and not anything else. Thanks!

Sadly this is what they look like now. Mutts i can never breed from. Ebay said the time passed exempted me from any refund... Of course until you hatch them .... You dont know if you got what you paid for!!!!!! Grrrr

Thanks so much for all you replies and input.....I contacted the person I bought the eggs from and she said "they are splash but I know I put some lavender eggs in there" I'm not sure if there is a brown orpington splash? Do any of you know? Anyone buying hatching eggs online and/or through eBay...
