Stressed about my eggs....
Last night was stormy and windy. The power went out around 11 PM and didn't kick back on until 4:00 AM. I have two full incubators right now.
I immediately covered the incubators in blankets and placed glasses of near-boiling water inside each one.
It was an...
Yeah, I disabled ALL of those settings. Annoying. It kept me up all night with constant beeping.
My main two concerns are temp and humidity. I do dry incubation, so I don't add any water until lockdown so that takes care of that.
For temperature, I throw in four or five cheap monitors. If I...
I have that incubator. Yes, it was a cheapie Chinese special off of Ebay. I bought two, one broke while I was away on a trip. I came home, heartbroken, to an ice cold incubator a few weeks back...
My other, however, holds temp extremely well. I haven't had any issues with it. This is besides...
My eggs have been set!
5 Crested Cream Legbar and 12 Sebright!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for eggs being shipped to me from California AND from Pennsylvania. Stay strong, little eggs!
Shipped eggs make me so nervous...
OOPS!
Sorry! I went back and edited my post!
Looks like I'm just going to have to bring my old LG out from the attic, dust it off, and set some eggs in that one as well... just to throw numbers off.
Hatching even more eggs? Well SHUCKS...
Okay, so I'm going to be doing something CRAZY for this year's Easter Hatch-A-Long:
There aren't any grocery stores in my area that sell the fertile chicken eggs by the dozen. Whole Foods, however, will sell me fertile chicken eggs if I commit to at least ****** dozen. They will ship ******...
