I ordered eggs to hatch. Isbars, Olive Eggers and Black Copper Marans. Nervous about hatching shipped eggs. First time ever shipping and of course they are coming from the other side of the country. Yes my husband built it his self from the drink cooler shell. It's a cabinet type cooler. Not really sure how it would compare to a mass manufactured one. Ours has four shelves. 1 shelf can hold a 41 egg turner. You can add more shelves to the size we have. It just happened to come with 4 shelves.- Sparky16

The 6th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!
We are changing the thermostat in our incubator this weekend to get ready for the Hatch A Long! I love hatching chicks. Best feeling in the world! This is my first Hatch A Long! Very excited! We use an old drink cooler. I will have to post pics once we get her cleaned up!- Sparky16
