So chick # 2 zipped out about 2 hours ago - about 12 hours after his singular pip this AM. This chick has much bigger feet than the first chick. Also made more noise during the hatch. Is that a sign it might be a roo? Any thoughts? Both are Barred Plymouth Rock. Egg #3 showing no signs of...- goingloopy

It is called The Chick-Bator. It doesn't get very good reviews, but I have had good luck with the temp staying steady. We kept it in the bathroom so that helped with humidity. You just put water in one of the legs. One hatch and one pip so far, so we are happy with it for our first experience in...- goingloopy
