    That's a gold laced Polish. That last Silkie question is a tricky one. I've seen lots of hatchery Silkies without beards or crests. It could be non bearded with its crest trimmed up. And, some Silkie/Cochin mixes come with pretty nice crests (with and without beards)...

    Sizzles aren't any different than normal frizzles. Their feathers are still soft, they just curl backwards, and mine like a good cuddle. I think you might be confusing them with breeding 2 frizzles together, which is a no no. When you breed 2 together, their feathers get brittle and break off...

    Thanks! No, you aren't mistaken! The smooth and frizzles are from my Sizzle project, my goal is a normal or frizzled feathered bird that looks just like a Silkie ;) They're some of my favorites!
