Up to 15 now! It's day 24 and I had to help 15 out of her shell.

I think 8 or 9 have hatched....it's so hard to see and they seem crowded. I may have to transfer some to the brooder soon but it hate too with so many pipped eggs.

So far I have 5 with lots of other eggs pipping and zipping away:)

Lock down for me too!!! Of my 18 Orpington eggs, 17 are definitely alive and one is kinda iffy.....because I wasn't sure, I left it in. I'm still amazed that they're growing after 29 hours of 40 degree temps on day 12. My sister says I'm growing little zombie chicks and they're going to kill me...

:( ...my power went out for 29 hrs because of bad snow storm. I know it's a lost cause but I'm gonna wait and candle tonight before I toss them.

Of my 24 eggs, 18 are swimming like little sea monkeys:) 5 didn't seem to be fertile and 1 had a blood ring.

Great:) I had amazing good luck with shipped eggs last year (Garry Farm). Did you notice my nifty way to add water without opening the brinsea? That tube is a straight urinary catheter that I threaded through a vent hole and I use a 60cc syringe to add the water:) ....I ordered a better...
