I purchased this chick at a feed store as a RIR but I figured from reading many other posts that it is most likely not a RIR. It being a Production Red rather than a RIR changes whether it looks like a roo or a pullet though? I have no idea, I really don't have any experience with roosters other...
I have older hens but none the same breed. I'm driving myself crazy about this. I've looked her over and over and over again and I really can't make any conclusion. Neck feathers... hackles? Look thin and pointy to me plus they are quite shiny compared to any of my hens aside from my australorp...

They don't look as round as your pullets feathers but they don't look pointy like your roos feathers either... I'm so confused.

This chicken is 13 weeks old. I think I know what gender it is but I want to see how many people agree or disagree with me as I know someone who is pretty convinced it is the opposite of what I think. I'm not gonna say what I think so I don't sway anyone.
