I fear he did. I think it was even $CAD and not $USD.
It must be for the secret deviled egg breeding project.
Shhhh....don't give away my secrets.
By the way I've spent more than $240 on a bird.

I actually find your honesty a breath of fresh air on these boards. I call them as I see them as well.
Do I think this bird is a show winner? NO
I do have an opening for a Chariot Racing Chook now that Lucky has retired. Also the eggs I get from the polish pullet will more than pay...
Geez Sem, that silkie chick is just precious. It's a good thing I already have silkies, cause when I look into her eye, all I can hear is.....MUST GET SILKIES....NOW....GET SILKIES.
You really should post a warning with that pic for those who don't have any. YET....Bwah-ha-ha

I did get pics today, but I'm having issues uploading to Photobucket at the moment. I'll post them as soon as I can.
I dropped off my birds at the Rockton World's Fair today, & for the first time I saw bantam Polish. I've been after this breed for 5+ years.
Well, one guy has the most beautiful what I would call pale blue or light grey hen I have ever seen. In fact I've never seen a polish in this colour.
I...
