    I do think it is size and a breeder in UK told me they always trim vent feathers when they not in show season. I have done this before with Blue Boy and it does help, but I just haven't had time of late as it takes two to handle a large bird like hisself. He is not fond of feather trimming.

    Thank you. As for the Wattles, I personally like them the way they look but for showing they don't need to have such massive wattles. Of course it is kind of difficult here in AL right now to show them cause there aren't hardly any shows that show LF. Do any of you Al people know if any?

    Thanks , Blue Boy is about the best Rooster personality wise we have had. He knows he rules the roost around here. He gets to stay as long as he lives. He is 2 years old now
