I'm still thinking cockerel, but for your sake I hope I'm wrong. We've seen Brahmas on these boards where the cockerels don't really become apparent until 6 months or so. Being a giant breed, they can be slower to mature. It would be great to see pics in a month or so to see how things are going!

I'm going to be the voice of dissention here. I think the bird is a cockerel, but some better pics would help confirm. I'm seeing darker shading on the wings, which is a male characteristic, and I'm pretty sure that's a triple row on the pea comb. A profile shot of the bird, from the side...
