    My opinion is that you should wait and see. :) I am skeptical of too-early attempts to discern chickens' sex, especially when using comb-size as an indicator on large-combed breeds. Waiting for the saddle feathers to show is more accurate.

    They need to be out in the coop and run. Giving them plenty of space and things to do other than mess with each other should improve their behavior.
