I'm glad you liked it. I happened to have 2 of those pavilion frames that lost their covers to the same hailstorm and it seemed natural to use them.

I *might* post an article but not enter a contest with it until I've gotten more of the finish details done. I've got another coop idea to work on -- Camp Cockerel, a rougher, lower-security facility for holding cull cockerels until it's time for freezer camp. Pallets, an old picnic pavilion...

I'm working on the page for Neuchickenstein, but I haven't gotten the extra details like separable pens and a built in-brooder built yet. :D

It won't be done for some time yet, but the end is now in sight.

We're going to put the roof and wire onto the Open Air Chicken Palace tomorrow -- or, at least, as much as DH, our sons, my sister, her husband, and I can managed before it gets too blistering hot. I've been documenting the build so I will be able to write it up.
