    Not in theory but potentially in practice. The interior of the chicken coop should have the same temperature and humidity as the outside and there shouldn't be even a hint of ammonia odor. :)

    Getting rid of the ammonia is really critical. Birds have extremely delicate respiratory systems -- the canary in the coal mine thing.

    I'm having trouble seeing the photos clearly on this screen. Are you leaving space at the top open to vent the lighter-than-air ammonia?
