I'm trying to pick some of both the males and the female for sale to cut the weekly feed bill a bit. :D
There aren't a lot of Blue Australorps available so I figured I'd give a few of the boys the chance to be something other than a chicken dinner.
Any more opinions on who is looking promising?
Specifically, for any breeder of blues, should I be worrying about that dark wash on their backs at this age or is that just a chick feather thing?

I'm not particularly sure about splash because I haven't had a confirmed splash bird, but the two noted as possible splash have a few dark feathers here and there on the lighter ground -- which is different from the dark wash across the wings on the boys where that's noted.

It's hard to distinguish them in the group right now. I call the dozen or so blue chicks "The Blue Blob" because they're always together and hard to tell apart.
