It’s VERY safe to say I got true Spangled Russian Orloffs. One doesn’t have muffs, but a ton of white spangles while this one matches the type! They’re really cool little birds

I should have known too that she didn’t hand me a blue olive egger (since it was black). We must have had the same gal because she was totally off on it all. My other times in there they are sooo exact!

Is it awful that I hate my wyandottes (bullies). my local shop is usually so good about their breeds but this day was a real crap shoot! Guess my parents get a new Wyandotte 😂 Yay on the orloffs though!

I will totally keep this in mind if these end up barnevelder. I also snagged one of the Olive Eggers from them. She tried to give me the grey ones as well and I said no that’s not right lol

Yes!! They were VERY confused at which chicks were what. Barnevelder chicks look similar but I’m hoping the white that has developed on these chicks wings that are prominent now and the “smooshed” comb means they are orloffs 🤷🏼‍♀️
