We built a deck for our elevated walk-in coop. We elongated the deck to accommodate a wheelbarrow for clean out. The stairs are about 6 feet away from the coop door. It is made of wood, which is currently very expensive. I think finding a metal staircase for a mobile classroom/office/etc...
