A week later... our naughtiest chick..

Apparently sexed but we’ve had tons of bad luck with “sexed” birds in the past. Never owned anything but silkies so we are anxious to see how many of the Marans chicks cuckoo and BC turn out to be hens. Thank you so much !

Any guesses - approx 4 weeks old ... the only cuckoo that I have, the rest of my Marans are BC and are only 2 weeks old. This little chick is far flightier than my other 17 chicks and squawks up a storm when picked up... Many thanks in advance !
