I checked the tread that you showed me and I'm pretty sure my hen isn't broody. She doesn't stay on the eggs that long and she definitely doesn't puff up when I look inside the nest.

So I have an Ameraucana hen that is apparently is laying eggs and might hatch them. She has her little nest and so far she has 2 eggs. She has the tendency to get up leave the eggs for a couple of hours and they get cold. Somebody told me that once she is done laying 10 eggs she will sit down...
