Finished about an hour ago and everything went well!! A few messed up so I had to refill the needle with the dosage again. Kernal thought this as the end for him when he got off the table and looked at me like I had just pumped him full of poison LOL. The look on his face.. Coal the little OEGB...
Here after my mother is done cooking we are going to drive up to Schultz (god bless her) house because she said she will give me some of the mareks vaccine to give to my chickens in the needles. I am in fear of the rest of my flock catching it but they have already been exposed.
Just got back tfrom the vet.. She doesn't know exactly what it is but she is thinking mareks. I brought her home because she said to keep an eye on her and see if anything gets worse or better. So thats it. My whole flock could be gone within a month. Never ever am I going to get chickens again...
I don't know whats going to happen to her.. I won't be able to get any sleep tonight.
I have been giving her polyvistol without iron to her beak or on some food. I don't have any B-complex tablets or E oil capsules.
She has been in the house since Tuesday and nothing has happend to my OEGB...
It started with her now roosting on the bar with all the others. Then a few days later I noticed she was walking stiltlegged while they were getting treats. 2 days after til today she has just been acting drunk. I really hope it isn't mareks... Do they seem fine when they get it except their legs?
If it is mareks how likely is it to spread to the rest of my flock? Will it affect quail chicks? She is in my living room next to my OEGB pullet and my box of quail chicks that hatched last week. I have no other place to quarentine her.
Well she is the same today. I have been giving here polyvistol without iron by beak and 2-3 drops. We have a vet appointment tomorrow at 9:20am. So we will see what the vet thinks. I have had alot of people ask my if it was an ear infection to. But I don't know.. I'm getting all my stashed money...
Yeah she's the little splash wyandotte bantam. The berries have been gone for about a month now. Nothing remains. As for the asprin I just dissolved a baby asprin in 1 gallon of water. I'm hoping she just fell off the roost and injured her leg and it's not some disease.

She feels normal on the weight. He comb is begining to redden but not growing yet. She has been on Flock raiser food. She gets to free range and has plenty of grit if she needs. Her crop is normal and so are her droppings.
Checked for mites/lice but have found nothing.
She hasn't been...
Anyone? She is still eating a drinking. I have her in the house tonight in the living room by my Coal my little OEGB bantam. She's on asprin water and thats it.
My bantam wyandotte pullet that was hatched in late April is walking funny today. She was fine over an hour ago but now she is unstable walking and walking straight legged. She's eating and drinking fine. I felt her over and she has no wounds or anything. She seems to lay down alot and close her...
