    I prefer roosters to the sound of traffic and barking dogs, too. But the OP can call the county if it's illegal in the zone they live in in Dania Beach, FL. See? Maybe not relevant, but perfectly ok. :)

    Depends on the zoning if they are allowed or not. Broward County has different rules about chickens for different zones. Regardless, I'd talk to the owner. If that doesn't help, you can call the county.
