Thanks, ve! I have only had purebreds, so I have always known what to expect in their development. Watching a cross mature, is very interesting since you don't always know what will pop up as they age! He is a cutie-pie!

I have a chick that is from a Barred Rock hen and either a Jersey Giant or salmon Faverolle roo. The chick is barred (male) and, now 4 weeks old, has tuffs over the ears, no beard, 4 toes and partially feathered legs (one leg is fairly well feathered, the other is sporadic at best). Oh...and...
