They now have feathers, but they don't look like regular feathers. They are fluffy with only a little bit of straightness to them. They don't look like any of the picturesof cochins I can find. I've named them Cloud and...
The bin held a bunch of different colored chicks, even some that were a darker silver gray. But there were at least 12-15 that were this light silver with cream to light yellow bellies, feathered feet, and black beaks.
The lady before me picked out six exactly like my two, and there were at least four or five more in the mixed bin after I got my two. I was going to pick out two Naked Necks, but these silver babies changed my mind. They were too pretty to pass up!

They don't have combs yet, only a line where one would be, and it looks kinda dark like the beak. Sorry the pictures arent better, its nasty outside, so no natural light.
Aren't those bantam, though? These chicks do look like the self blue D'Uccles, but they aren't small like a bantam chick would be. They are bigger than the Polish chicks I got at the same time.
Hello! I was in Rural King the other day getting a few polish chicks, when I was distracted by these gorgeous silver chicks with feathered feet! They were in a "Rare Hatchery Choice" bin. I didn't think to take a picture of the list of possible breeds.🤦🏼♀️
