Thanks, you're probably right. I thought I read a post in which somebody said the gizzard shrinks after not feeding for several days, but I probably misunderstood. Crop makes a lot more sense. One thing I am noticing is how huge these birds' livers are! Wish I had taken pics, you'd be amazed...
