    I forgot to add that the frozen one's can be thawed out later when your hen's are moulting and fed back to them in the wet feed. They won't have the shell's in it, but the moulting flock doesn't need the extra calcium at that time. They do however need the extra protein to help them to grow back...

    You can always boil up a few to feed back to the chicken's once a week. Crush the boiled egg up eggshell and all, add water and feed to it, making it into a wet feed treat. That way they are still eating the feed too, and not just getting full on the egg. Last year when mine were laying really...
