With not having had a cochin chick before, is it normal for her feathers to not grow completely flat? Some of them are growing out so I'm not sure.

Wonderful! I didn't get to see her before the lady put her in the box, my sister picked her out. If it doesn't oh well. Still going to post the development just on case someone else has the same mystery lol

Right?! It's got the wheels turning though. She's not a d'uccle. Fluff not right color and doesn't have fluffy cheeks. Pretty sure a cochin but everything I've seen has no trace of black in the wings.

I'm stuck on cochin but since they are from a feed store it could be any of the bantam they had. First time bantam raiser

So I have a mystery bantam. Purchased as a silkie, guessed as a cochin, but still a mystery. I will be posting weekly updates but here she is roughly 1.5-2 weeks old. Pics below are a variety between the day I got her and today. Any and all guesses are welcome.
