I was convinced none were alive because I didn't see a single movement the whole time, no noise, no wiggles, nothing, until the start of day 17...

    Mine was always on a slightly lower temp in the morning, probably from the room cooling overnight.     In cases like that, is it sensible to rest them pointy side down in the incubator for the first day before starting to turn?
