I've had good luck with it. It can only hold 9 eggs unless you want to try overloading it like I did on this batch, which out of the 25 eggs, only 7 eggs hatched, But they were also shipped eggs. The last time i used it as intended i got 100% hatch rate.

Ended up with 3 total Bielefelder chicks out of 10 eggs. 2 hens and a roo. The egg I had cracked open and was nervous was still alive, wasn’t. It probably died around day 14 or so. Now I just have to wait and see how many Marans hatch in 2 days. Those ones I didn’t touch as much lol

Not yet. I had 6 make it to lockdown, and the due date is tomorrow. I had them in an upright position in the incubator all the way to lockdown (tilting 3x’s a day), and got nervous leaving them upright for hatching so they are on their sides. Only ever seen one of the eggs moving. Getting...

I candled them when I unpacked them and thought I saw a couple with saddle shapes, but I just candled them again, after 24 hrs rest, and I can’t see an air cell in any of them. They seem to be lighter on the pointy ends, but I’m thinking the shells aren’t as thick there.
