    Yeah right I know it wouldn't work once the egg has started to develop. I meant only after it has been laid. And I don't know about temperature and humidity.

    Yeah I don't know if there is a difference between breeds and different kinds of fowl. I actually only did it once. But I had a good hatch rate.

    What I have read and experienced is that hatching eggs will stay fertile longer or just last longer in the fridge. I have had a fairly good success rate with eggs that have been in the fridge for at least a week but up to 3 weeks.
