Yeah im done for now. Unless i build a larger grow out pen and brooder ill have to sell about 17 of these. Ill wait a couple weeks and load it again. That way when the next hatch falls i will have an empty brooder
Thanks. Still got 10 or so in the incubator. Im gonna give them until the morning.
Two of my rabbits kindled today as well. Both had 8 kits each. Its a blessed day
No, today is day 20. Kinda wierd.

Power outage! Its 95°f in the bator and dropping. Power isnt likely to be restored very soon because of our rural location. Two and a half weeks of my life that ill never get back.
Well its lockdown time. Found another quiter. I think that brings the total to 45 left. I have only added water once and it took the bator up to 30% rh, but i have seen alot of smaller than expected air sacks. Maybe if i dont get carried away on lockdown rh they will be ok???
I filled the...
If i ever get caught up around the place im going to build a wooden incubator with 2 wafer stats and 450 watt heat strips. But for now the little lg is doing fine
Our lows have been in the lower 60s. I haven't taken temps at all in the brooder. I figure if they are cold they can move closer to the light and vise versa
They are feathered out tho....well the 9 older ones are. Im thinking of moving them to the chick coop tomorrow and seeing what happens
Hey quick off the topic question. How old do chicks have to be before they can leave the brooder and heat lamp? Mine are about 5 weeks and feathered out (except the heads)
