    neat! i like that idea! plus you can get them at most hardware stores pretty cheaply! though i think if you have an old t-shirt you could cut the sleeve off and cut the holes for the wings but that might just be a quick and temp solution.

    posting pics may help. but it sounds like it could also be that the crop got punctured if it is the size of a lemon! what size or type of bird is this? how old? is it still eating/drinking? what have you been feeding it?
