    I know what you’re saying, all im saying is i never lost a chicken to a predator last time i had them and neither have my neighbors (which mostly free range during the day) i see them in my yard from time to time. I keep mine caged and covered. And are about as safe as you can get for the most part.

    My neighbors have two pointers. They just stop and stare at them and we do have alot of feral cats but non of them seem to care about the full grown chickens. They can’t get through the chain link. Concrete boarder under the fence also.

    Thank you!! The flock are just barnyards mostly Phoenix cross. The babies are easter eggers , silver laced and gold laced wyandottes, and barred rocks.

    Thank you!! I have 0 predators luckily i live in an area where everyone has 1/2 acre lots. Domestic pets and farm animals for the most part.
