It took me 8 golfballs in 3 of the nesting boxes(2 in each) and the other 2 in a laundry basket with straw to finally get them to lay in the boxes! The golfballs are still there too. AND they'll only lay on top of the balls(5 unused boxes!!). I have also heard of wooden eggs or stuffed sealed...
